Motor Unit:   A motor neuron and the muscle fibers that it innervates.

Muscle Fiber Recruitment:   Refers to the recruitment pattern of muscle fiber/motor units in response to creating force for a specific movement.

Neuromuscular Efficiency:   the ability of the neuromuscular system to allow agonists, antagonists, stabilizers and neutralizers to work synergistically to produce, reduce, and dynamically stabilize the entire kinetic chain.
