Basal Metabolic Rate: the rate at which the body expends energy while at rest.

Circuit Training:
A series of exercises that and individual performs one after the other with minimal rest.

Concentric Contraction: Occurs when a muscle exerts more force than the external resistance placed upon it. This causes the muscle to shortent. 

Core Strength:   The ability of the lumb-pelvic-hip-complex musculature to control an individual's constantly changing center of gravity.
